it's like building a doll house. all from my hands. bare hands. splinters and such i experience while building it. i meticulously measure the pieces, glue them together and paint it the base color. i'm almost done. i make sure i store it back into its safe place in the shed whenever im done working with it. but one day, a hurricane strikes, fucks EVERYTHING up. you see, that hurricane is not part of my control to avoid. a bloody hurrican sucks everything up and puts everything out of order. broken, and out of order. just coincidentally, that hurricane whizzed through the shed, and split my doll house in half. IT WAS PERFECT, THE BEST CREATION I EVER MADE IN MY LIFE. that dollhosue was stored in the safest place in the shed imaginable. yet it still managed to be damaged. luckily i could put back the pieces together. but splinters and all, glue and more glue, it could never be as perfect as it used to be..even though it is in one piece. underneath the last coat of paint and varnish i put, cracks and knobbly edges will always be seen scarred upon the perfect beauty. that, it Us. and my love for you.
